Minecraft Releases Lightyear Collaboration DLC Availability Now

New content, including Buzz's initial story, is available as part of the Minecraft DLC based on the animated Pixar film Lightyear. The most recent Minecraft blog post described the Lightyear DLC as an "blocky intergalactic adventure" which will include five missions. The missions let players combat enemies using a variety of tools, endure hostile environments and fly various aircrafts to avoid obstacles.

"In the Lightyear DLC you can explore Buzz's story and help him navigate an extraterrestrial world following an unfortunate crash landing," says a portion of the post. "You can play through five missions as the Academy-trained hero, which includes a hostile swamp, a jungle, and a mine and a variety of alien settlements."

The Lightyear DLC will also come with an exclusive Lightyear-themed Character Creator item. SERVER TRACKER SERVER TRACKER It's currently not available on Nintendo Switch, but the blog said that it will be coming soon.
