The Minecraft 1.19 release date is it seems, in the near future. The next major update will have many exciting things to look at such as frogs, a new mob made of allay, and the terrifying Minecraft Warden. Each brings something different to the game. However when it comes to the Warden, it's clear that Mojang really wants it to terrorize us.

If you're skeptical take a look at the most recent notes for Minecraft 1.19 pre-release 3 that almost immediately followed pre-release 2 presumably because of Warden's demands. While the majority of the notes focus on bug fixes, there are some Warden-related changes worth noting. The first is that if a Warden gets trapped in a liquid, it will now die instead of digging. We don't know why it angrily desspawns however, it's something we're eager to observe.

Another big change, and it was the one that specifically was introduced in version three of the prerelease and Warden's Sonic blast attack is now able to bypass damage reduction through armor spells like Protection. This makes Warden slightly more intense because it shows Mojang would prefer this enemy to be snubbed and not to be cheated.

While many of the smaller bugs are quite specific, it's worth noting that mobs appear to appear more frequently inside Nether Portals, which means they're ripping through the space and time fabric a lot. Mojang is working on stopping this in a later version however they "will not make any further modifications to this until the release of 1.19."
