Minecraft: Bishop of Ely joins game to spread Gospel lessons

The video game Minecraft, a virtual world in which players build anything using blocks, is being used in order to bring worship to younger generations. Balonium



Becky Dyball, a Reverend from Sawtry, Cambridgeshire, joined the game to share Bible stories in a new way.



She also included her boss, Bishop of Ely, with the support of her family.



"The idea... was born out of a want to try to engage children... and entice them with the idea of worship in a group," she told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.



The Right Reverend Stephen Conway, Bishop of Ely added: "I am so pleased to have participated in an innovative method of sharing Bible stories and the good news of Jesus in this manner.



"It is a great source for collective worship in our schools, and I highly recommend." Balonium
