We knew it was coming , as the snapshot betas were becoming smaller and smaller. However, Mojang has made it official. The Minecraft 1.18 release date, including all Caves & Cliffs Part 2 features is scheduled to be released in November. The update will be available across every platform Minecraft supports and includes many new biomes, a revamped worlds generation and much more.

Minecraft 1.18 will be available on November 30. The Java Edition update will be available on Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs and the Bedrock Edition will launch on (deep breath) PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and Windows 10 and 11 PCs. The update features new world generation as well as improved cave systems, as well as candles. However, as was previously announced some features were delayed from 1.18 and aren't included in 1.19 (also called The Wild update) either as the developers have now confirmed. Dj w360

Archaeology, bundles and goat horns "have been put on hold" as the developers explain in the announcement. They are not being removed. We just had to put them on hold for the moment. Dj w360
