How To Set Up Multiple Worlds On One Server Multiverse

In this guide we will cover the process of setting up your Minecraft server so that in can support multiple different worlds on the same server. Multiverse is a plugin that allows you to do this. It requires your Spigot/Bukkit type server to run this plugin. (If your server does not have Spigot or Bukkit installed, please refer to our guides. Spigot Setup – Here Spigot Setup.



How to set up Multiverse:



Installation:



Multiverse Core is available for download here to your PC. Multiverse plugins can be added to your computer with additional functionality. The table below shows the list. - Multiverse-Portals features:



Make custom portals to go to any destination! MINECRAFT SERVERS Restrict users from using specific portals using permissions. Allow users to use specific portals. Portal fees are exempted from users. Multiverse Portals allow users to launch themselves through the air. Allow minecarts/boats through Multiverse Portals. Visit the Multiverse Portals Wiki to find out more.



- Multiverse-NetherPortals features:



Have nether and end worlds per for any of your overworlds! Have custom nether and end portals in a world go to a specific world Custom World Scaling when using NetherPortals! All types of worlds are supported, including skylands, nether, and normal. Even custom generators!) For more information, visit the wiki for Multiverse-NetherPortals.



- Multiverse-Inventories features:



Have separated players stats and inventories per world or per group of worlds. Each group of worlds has its own inventory, last location (in a previous world before teleporting), Hunger and Health, Exp, and bed spawns. For more information, visit the wiki for Multiverse-Inventories.



Login to your Gamepanel. Click "File Manager" Click to open the plugins folder. Click "Upload" in the menu bar. Select the Multiverse core.jar file that you downloaded in Step 1. Wait for the upload process to complete. Once the file has been uploaded, we can now configure Multiverse to find your server's current universes. Configuration (Importing your current worlds):



Multiverse can only be configured by an operator (OP). If you aren't already a server OP then please follow this guide - How to OP a player



Login to your server. Type: /mv import WORLD ENV Now, you'll have to replace WORLD with your world's folder name and ENV with the environment type.



There are 3 currently available: normal, nether and end. If you forget these, you may use /mv.env. It will always list all of these choices.
